Can a new patient tell which visit to request?
“Book an appointment” can leave a new patient guessing. A clearer next step starts with the visits your front desk can actually arrange.

01The context
Accurate information comes first
Google’s Business Profile guidelines call for an accurate representation of your business. That is a useful starting point for the whole patient journey: your listing, website and front desk should describe the same practice.
Our practical suggestion: start with one page that brings new-patient calls, rather than rewriting the whole website.
02At the front desk
Resolve the questions people call to ask
Name the first visit.
For an implant inquiry, say whether the next step is a consultation. For a new-patient visit, explain what your practice normally includes, without promising a particular treatment.
Be clear about availability.
Confirm whether you are accepting new patients and how urgent appointment requests are handled. Avoid a same-day promise your team cannot consistently meet.
Explain the booking outcome.
If a form sends a request, say the team will confirm the appointment. An inquiry should not look like a reserved time.
HOW AAPTLY CAN HELP
