Getting started

Create your business in Aaptly, see your Local Growth Audit, and connect Google — usually under ten minutes.

Aaptly connects your whole local growth loop: get found → respond instantly → recover missed leads → book the customer → request reviews → improve local visibility. This guide takes you from signup to a working dashboard.

The loop compounds — each step feeds the next.

The whole setup is: find your business, confirm a few details, see what Aaptly would fix, then connect your Google Business Profile. Your first weekly report lands the following Monday.

What you'll need

  • The name and city of your business (so we can find your Google listing).
  • A Google account that manages your Google Business Profile — owner or manager access. You'll connect it at the end.

If you ran the free audit on aaptly.com before signing up, the wizard pre-fills your business name, phone, hours, and location automatically — you'll breeze through the first steps.

Set up your business

Find your business. Start typing your business name and pick it from the Google results. Aaptly pulls in your name, phone, website, address, hours, and a best-guess business type.

Review what Google knows. Confirm your business name and tagline, and choose your business type (med spa, salon, barbershop, tattoo studio, and many more). Your type sets the right language across the app — a tattoo studio sees "sessions" and "artists," a salon sees "appointments" and "stylists."

Confirm your market. Check your address, city, state, ZIP, and time zone. This is the area Aaptly measures your local rankings against, so it's worth getting right. (You can edit it later.)

See your growth gaps. Aaptly runs a live audit — checking your Google profile, local rankings, competitors, reviews, and website. In about 12 seconds you'll see a modeled revenue opportunity, the searches you're missing, competitors winning your market, and what's holding your profile back.

Build your dashboard. Click the build button to create your business in Aaptly. You land on your dashboard with the audit already attached.

Connect your Google Business Profile. This is the one connection that matters — it lets Aaptly publish the posts and review replies you approve, and pull your live rankings and reviews. See Connect your Google Business Profile. You can skip it for now, but most of the loop stays locked until you do.

What happens after setup

  • Your dashboard shows your Growth Score, the top fixes, and what's changed week over week. See Understanding your dashboard.
  • Your first weekly report lands the following Monday.
  • The Action Center always shows the single next best step — start there whenever you're unsure.
